The Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull signed bilateral agreements for the roll out of the NDIS in New South Wales and Victoria a couple of weeks ago, but he also removed a dedicated disabilities portfolio from Cabinet in the recent reshuffle, and Christian Porter who is the new Social Services minister will now oversee the NDIS. A review of the legislation that underpins the NDIS is also underway, including a review of the costs. So where is the scheme at under the new federal leadership—is good corporate governance in operation or not?
