Target Group
This skill set is for individuals who hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in Community Services, Health or a related field, work in various care and support roles and who wish to develop skills in home and community support for people with disability.
Students must satisfy the following age, English, and Academic requirements:
- Age: must be 17 years or over
- Undertake Pre-Training Review
- Achieve satisfactory result of LLN assessment: Learning, reading, writing, oral communication, and numeracy (ACSF Level 3) are desirable to participate in the course.
- Moderate level of digital literacy and has access to a computer with internet access.

These units provide credit towards a range of qualifications in the CHC Community Services Training Package at Certificate III or Certificate IV level.

Assessment Conditions
For CHCCCS031 – Provide individualised support unit tasks outlined in the performance evidence must be demonstrated in simulation prior to being assessed in the workplace.
To be eligible for the award of a Statement of Attainment for the CHCSS00132 Individual Support – Home and Community (Disability), participants must successfully complete four units comprising:
•          five (5) Core units
Where the full course is not completed, a Statement of Attainment will be issued for any completed unit/s.
